Experience
I have been working in the humanitarian sector for the past twelve years, mostly in campaigns and communications. Before joining the HLA, I worked for Amnesty International, Migrants’ Rights Network, and a Palestinian NGO based in London, campaigning for the rights of Palestinian refugee women and girls in Lebanon, Syria and the occupied Palestinian territories.
At the HLA I am responsible for setting the agenda for the strategic direction and delivery of all aspects of communications and marketing, to ensure our learning solutions, platforms, products and services are globally recognised across Save the Children, the humanitarian sector and beyond.
One thing to know
I love music! I’m a classically trained pianist and love playing during my free time. I’m also learning how to play the drums and recently invested in an electric drum kit to stay at peace with my neighbors.
My favourite learning resource
Kaya of course! I particularly love the course on International Humanitarian Law (available in French and English).
