Learning at the International Committee of the Red Cross: Challenges & Opportunities
In this interview, Maja helps us to better understand the multiple challenges a role such as hers poses, and how the Humanitarian Leadership Academy e-learning platform Kaya is offering new opportunities and solutions to both ICRC and the humanitarian sector as a whole.
Providing humanitarian learning to Palestinian refugees in Jordan
One of the best things about Kaya is how it connects us to local humanitarian communities around the world. We connected with Khaled Al Shaka’a on Facebook, where he had shared how his organisation ‘One Love’ had been using Kaya’s online courses to educate and connect humanitarian volunteers in Jerash Palestinian refugee camp in Jordan.
The Norwegian Refugee Council using Kaya to improve organisational learning
In 2016, the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) and the Humanitarian Leadership Academy embarked on a strategic partnership to help provide staff with access to high quality humanitarian learning opportunities. Through this partnership, the NRC adopted the Kaya online learning platform and made it available to their global network of 6,000 staff.
